Western and Chinese Integrated Medicine

The Strategy of Coordinating Western and Chinese Medicine

If a doctor of Western medicine never realizes and uses the Chinese medicine, does he have the qualification to say that Chinese medicine makes patients sick and also lets patients have to

accept dialysis caused by uremia?  How do they, Chinese and Western medicine or even Complementary and Alternative medicine, to achieve the milestone together?

Integrating Western Medicine With Chinese Medicine Is Doing Good to Patients

Since both Western and Chinese medicine have advantages and disadvantages, a doctor must know how to distinguish from them while treating patients clinically. Then, according to the principle of “Alleviate the symptoms of an illness when the situation is acute, Effect a permanent cure when it’s unhurried”, the doctor should choose one of medical models or combined with two different medical models to achieve the goal of “Focusing the treatment on Patients” and find the most beneficial medical method for patients.

Integrating Western with Chinese medicine is Following the Example of Japan

In Japan, a doctor could prescribe Western and Chinese medicine for patients on the same prescription. (Japanese call Chinese Medicine as Kampō medicine漢方醫學). In other words, the identical doctor could prescribe both western and chinese medicine for the same patient at the same time because only the doctor knows the effect of mixing different ingredients together.
